FLC TRIP INFORMATION
Parents here are answers to your questions about the upcoming TSA on November 9-12, 2023:
- What is the final cost of the trip? The final cost of the trip is $210.00 for everything. This includes registration, plus "planned" meals (Friday and Saturday night), and hotel. The charter bus is provided by the district. Students traveling AND staying with parents will pay $60 to cover registration and planned meals. Make checks and money orders payable to PEACHTREE MIDDLE SCHOOL.
- Does my child need addition money for food and spending? Yes, your child will need additional money for spending and food. We have planned meals provided for Friday and Saturday nights. Georgia TSA will provide lunch on Saturday as part of the conference registration. Your child will need money for ALL OTHER meals and whatever they plan to buy. Please discuss the money allocations with your child because in the past we have had students to spend all of their food money on merchandise.
- What time are they leaving on Thursday? Will they be missing any classes? We leave at 4:00 PM on Thursday AFTER school. IF THIS CHANGES WE WILL LET YOU KNOW IN ADVANCE. They will miss classes on Friday. Teachers will be informed, via school email, prior to the Friday's absence.
- How are they getting to the event? (school bus, charter bus, private car?) We will travel via charter bus along with participating schools in our zone (Dunwoody HS, Sequoyah MS, etc.)
- What time are they returning on Sunday, and where will they be dropped off? Please be near your phone on Sunday morning. Students will call and give a E.T.A. once the bus leaves Jekyll island. We anticipate being back at PCMS round 6:00-7:30PM!
